REZA CRISTIÁN

Reza Cristián (She/Her) is the founder and executive director of Joon Community, a mutual aid & public transit-focused non-profit that hosts community-engaged & environment justice-friendly events. On top of this, she has been a co-founder of the Slow Fashion Festival based in ATX since 2022. She formerly founded SUSTAIN THE MAG, an online media platform from 2017-2024 where she focused on #SlowMedia.

She resides between Minneapolis & Austin, where she loves hiking, biking, and enjoying lots of coffee.

JULIA LE

Julia Le (she/ her) is an art director, photographer & writer based in New York City exploring the themes of culture, climate, and community. She currently serves as Board President of Joon Community, and is pursuing a Master of International Affairs at Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs. Previously, she was Fashion Editor of SUSTAIN the Mag and Action Team Co-Lead at Adobe NYC.

She enjoys wandering around museums, learning languages, and trying new recipes.

RICARDO A LEÓN

Ricardo A. León is an architectural designer and disability advocate based in Austin, TX. In addition, he serves as a Registered Accessibility Specialist with the Texas Department of Licensing and Registration, and founder of DisabledGoods, a workshop that aims to inform our understanding of "access" and an equitable built environment through installations, design proposals, criticism, and advocacy. He received an M. Arch from Columbia University Graduate School of Architecture, Planning, and Preservation and a B.S. in Architecture and Architectural History from the University of Texas at Arlington, where he continues to teach design studios as an adjunct professor.

ELYSIA PERKINS

Elysia Perkins is a communications professional, sustainable transportation advocate, and photographer living in Austin, Texas. Growing up in rural Texas, Elysia gained firsthand experience traveling only by car for much of her life, and since moving to Austin, she has found both the joy and the community need for modes of transportation including transit, biking, walking, and more to lower carbon emissions and improve public safety. Working in the Austin Transportation and Public Works Department as a photographer and marketing professional for the last three years, Elysia has been primarily involved with the Get There ATX initiative, which seeks to improve access and education surrounding sustainable transportation methods in Austin. Elysia has been a photographer for nearly 8 years and previously worked in the advocacy space for voting rights, healthcare access, education policy, sustainability, and immigration reform in Texas.
